Its been a while

Well i am slack what can i say.

Have recently gotten back from a trip to the UK to the fabulous Netty and Martin's wedding. We had an absolute ball and she looked stunning in her wedding dress. The church was very quaint and pretty and the reception was held in a barn in the middle of nowhere. The planning on getting all the suppliers there was quite phenomenal.

So pre wedding 9 of us went for a week long hen party to Portugal sans kids. The house we stayed in had a beautiful pool and chickens and many many fruit trees. Loved having a ripe fig in the morning and can't wait til the fruit from my own fig tree is edible.

We managed to fit an overnight trip to France in as well. We went to Boulougne-sur-mer and stayed in a fancy schmancy hotel. We dined in the michelin 4 * restaurant and the kids were so well behaved considering we were there for 3 hours!

For some reason this was the worst jetlag EVER!! Seriously it took us 8 nights to get over and the only explanation i can come up with is the time of year.

I am really really proud of Sharlie as she has been selected for the gifted and talented programme at school. Toby has also with much surprise to himself come first at shot put and represented the school at zone. He was rather chuffed with his ribbon as were we :)
